- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into your prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges begin to turn golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before lifting them out. Let them cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
