Ingredients

  • Sausage Links (pork, turkey, or spicy Italian)
  • Puff Pastry (store-bought, thawed)
  • Honey (1/4 cup)
  • Brown Sugar (2 tablespoons)
  • Dijon Mustard (1 tablespoon)
  • Soy Sauce (1 tablespoon)
  • Egg (1, mixed with a splash of water for wash)
  • Fresh Herbs (optional, thyme or rosemary)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the sausage by cutting larger links into pieces about 2-3 inches long.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry to 1/8-inch thickness and cut into 3×5 inch rectangles.
  4. Fill each rectangle with a sausage piece and roll it up, sealing the edges.
  5. Brush the tops with egg wash and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Mix honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and soy sauce for the glaze.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from the oven and brush glaze on each pastry. Return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, consider briefly cooking the sausage in a skillet before wrapping. These are best enjoyed warm with fresh herbs on top.
