- 1 package puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or Gruyère)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into rectangles, about 4×4 inches.
- On one half of each rectangle, place a slice of ham and a sprinkle of cheese.
- Fold the pastry over to create a pocket and press the edges together.
- Brush the tops with the egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
