Instructions
- Prep the beef by cutting it into bite-sized pieces and seasoning generously with salt and pepper.
- Sear the beef in a hot skillet for added flavor (optional).
- Sauté the mushrooms in olive oil until golden brown.
- Combine the browned beef, sautéed mushrooms, diced onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth in the crock pot.
- Set the crock pot to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Thicken the gravy by mixing cornstarch with cold water and adding it 30 minutes before serving if desired.
- Serve the beef tips over creamy mashed potatoes or noodles.
