A flavorful turkey breast coated with a fragrant blend of garlic and herbs, perfect for festive occasions or cozy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 boneless turkey breast
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Flavor Base: In a small bowl, blend softened butter or olive oil with minced garlic, finely chopped herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Season the turkey: Pat the turkey breast dry and rub the herb-butter mixture all over it. Let it marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  4. Sear the turkey: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil, and sear the turkey breast for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  5. Roast the turkey: Transfer to a baking dish, pour in chicken broth, and roast for about 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Rest the turkey: Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Garnish and enjoy: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the turkey before serving.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer for best results to ensure the turkey is not overcooked. Experiment with different herbs for unique flavors.
