- 2 cups icing sugar
- Milk, as needed for icing consistency
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and sugars together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Scoop cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool completely on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Prepare the icing by mixing icing sugar with milk until desired consistency.
- Drizzle the icing over the cooled cookies and let it set for 15-20 minutes before serving.
