Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Start by slicing the cabbage into ribbons, chopping the onion, and smashing the garlic cloves.
  2. Heat the skillet: In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter or heat oil over medium heat.
  3. Cook the sausage: Add the sliced sausage first and let it brown.
  4. Add onion and garlic: Once the sausage is brown, toss in the onions and garlic. Sauté until translucent.
  5. Stir in cabbage: Add the cabbage, stirring frequently until it wilts slightly.
  6. Incorporate maple and mustard: Drizzle in the maple syrup and Dijon mustard, mixing well.
