Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined.
  5. Scoop the dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden; cool on baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
