Description
A rich and delectable salmon dish featuring a blend of miso and butter, creating a comforting taste that brings back cherished memories.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets
- 3 tablespoons miso paste (white, yellow, or red)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 green onions (sliced)
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together miso paste, unsalted butter, soy sauce, and minced garlic until smooth.
- Marinate the Salmon: Spread the miso butter generously over salmon fillets and let them marinate in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.
- Heat the Skillet: Warm a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt a teaspoon of butter in it.
- Cooking the Salmon: Place salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 5-6 minutes; flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until they flake easily with a fork.
- Add a Final Touch: Squeeze lemon juice over the top and sprinkle with sliced green onions.
- Serve with Love: Plate the salmon, drizzling any remaining sauce from the pan on top.
Notes
Avoid over-marinating the salmon to prevent a saltier taste. Let the salmon rest post-cooking to retain moisture.
