Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring succulent shrimp seared to perfection with garlic, herbs, and a splash of lemon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb medium to large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro, or thyme)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil, waiting until it shimmers.
  3. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper and add them to the pan, cooking undisturbed for about 2-3 minutes until golden.
  4. Flip the shrimp, add minced garlic, and sauté for another minute until fully opaque.
  5. Add butter and lemon juice, tossing everything together until glossy.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs and an extra wedge of lemon.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the pan to achieve a perfect sear. Keep a close eye on the cooking time to prevent overcooking.
