- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Chocolate kisses for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Beat together the peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter until creamy.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well until combined.
- Gradually add the flour and baking soda, mixing until just combined.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for around 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden.
- Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie immediately after removing them from the oven.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few moments before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Chill the dough for 30 minutes if it’s too sticky. For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or sea salt before baking.
