Description

A delightful dessert that layers creamy cheesecake with toasted pecans and a graham cracker crust, perfect for family gatherings and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups pecans, toasted
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • ¼ cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread pecans on a baking sheet and toast for 8–10 minutes.
  2. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy. Gradually add vanilla extract and heavy whipping cream, then fold in half of the chopped pecans.
  3. Combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and brown sugar, then press into the bottom of a trifle dish.
  4. Layer half of the cheesecake mixture over the graham cracker base, sprinkle remaining pecans, add another layer of graham cracker crumbs, and the rest of the cheesecake mix.
  5. Top with whipped cream and remaining whole pecans. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Notes

Make sure to let the dessert chill long enough for flavors to meld together. Consider using a clear trifle dish to showcase the layers.
