Description
Tender pork chops served with a rich and creamy peppercorn sauce, perfect for cozy weeknight dinners or festive gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
- 2 tablespoons freshly cracked black peppercorns
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup beef or chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Season the pork chops with salt and cracked black pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter until sizzling.
- Add the pork chops, searing for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
- Transfer the chops to a plate, covering them to keep warm.
- Toss in minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the broth and whisk to deglaze the pan.
- Add the heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until the sauce simmers and thickens (4-5 minutes).
- Return the pork chops to the skillet, allowing them to heat in the sauce for 1 minute before serving.
Notes
Serve with a fresh side salad or steamed vegetables for a balanced meal. If sauce thickens too much, add more broth or cream as needed.
