- 1 wheel brie cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
- 1/2 cup cranberries (fresh or dried)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- In a bowl, combine chopped pistachios, cranberries, and honey.
- Place brie cheese in the center of the pastry and top with the pistachio and cranberry mixture.
- Cut slits on both sides of the pastry, then fold the strips over the cheese filling.
- Brush with the egg wash for a golden color.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Cool slightly, then serve with fresh herbs or edible flowers for garnish.
Notes
Using room temperature brie ensures it melts beautifully. Avoid overfilling to achieve a nice puff.
