Ingredients

  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 150g granulated sugar
  • 50g brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 100g all-purpose flour
  • 150g fresh raspberries
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8 inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth, then let it cool slightly.
  3. Mix together the granulated and brown sugars in a large bowl, then pour in the cooled chocolate mixture and stir well.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until each is fully incorporated, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Incorporate the all-purpose flour gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the fresh raspberries evenly throughout the batter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before slicing into squares and serving.
