- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter and sugars together until fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Beat in the egg until fully integrated.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
- Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and caramel sauce gently.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each cookie before baking.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers are soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
These cookies are best served warm, ideally with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee.
