Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the butter and sugars together until fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Beat in the egg until fully integrated.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
  5. Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and caramel sauce gently.
  7. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each cookie before baking.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers are soft.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
