Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fresh scallions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional herbs (fresh thyme or parsley)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Slice the chicken into even strips and finely chop the scallions and garlic.
  2. Heat the skillet: Drizzle olive oil or melt a knob of butter in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  3. Sauté the chicken: Add the chicken strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Add garlic and scallions: Once the chicken is browned, toss in minced garlic and scallions. Stir and sauté for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Finish with soy sauce: Drizzle the soy sauce over the chicken mixture, stir well and let cook for an additional minute.
  6. Serve: Transfer the Scallion Chicken Chops to a serving plate, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and enjoy warm.
