S’mores Rice Krispie Treats

Description

Delightful S’mores Rice Krispie Treats that combine the classic flavors of s’mores with the crunch of Rice Krispies, perfect for family gatherings and picnics.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir continuously until melted and gooey.
  3. Remove from heat and fold in Rice Krispies and crushed graham crackers until evenly coated.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips, reserving a handful for topping.
  5. Press the mixture into a greased baking pan using a spatula.
  6. Sprinkle reserved chocolate chips and extra graham cracker pieces on top.
  7. Cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

For a variation, try using flavored chocolate chips or puffed rice cereal instead of Rice Krispies.
