Description

Deliciously fluffy donuts filled with a creamy strawberry cheesecake mixture, perfect for sharing and creating sweet memories.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 1/4 tsp Yeast
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Butter, melted
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries, diced
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Powdered Sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Yeast Mixture: In a small bowl, mix warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle active dry yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until bubbly and frothy.
  2. Make the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, eggs, melted butter, and a pinch of salt. Slowly add the yeast mixture and stir until a sticky dough forms. Knead it on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Let It Rise: Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise for about an hour or until it doubles in size.
  4. Prepare the Filling: In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and diced fresh strawberries until smooth. Refrigerate while the dough rises.
  5. Shape the Donuts: Punch down the dough and roll it out to about half an inch thick. Use a donut cutter to cut out the donuts.
  6. Fry the Donuts: Heat oil in a deep skillet to 360°F. Fry the donuts until golden brown on both sides. Remove and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  7. Stuff the Donuts: Once cooled, use a pastry bag to fill each donut with the cheesecake filling.
  8. Glaze and Serve: Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, substitute almond milk for regular milk. You can also try different fillings like blueberries or raspberries for variety.
