- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 package phyllo dough or pastry dough
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary)
- 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt (optional)
- Melted butter or egg wash for brushing
- Salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine softened cream cheese, cranberries, nuts, and herbs in a bowl. Stir until well blended.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface if using pastry dough, or keep phyllo sheets moistened.
- Spread the filling evenly across the dough, leaving a half-inch border.
- Roll it up tightly from one end.
- Slice the log into 1-inch pieces.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each.
- Brush tops with melted butter or egg wash, then sprinkle with salt.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
